The Data Analyst serves as the liaison between Proclivity Systems and our clients. They must be experienced technically, with a good understanding of data feeds, file feeds and data integration. They will be involved in the full client lifecycle, from pre-sales to initial client project implementation and integration to ongoing client management and servicing. He or she must be able to understand our clients` businesses, their specific needs and how we can use our system and expertise to best help them achieve their business goals.
The Data Analyst must have a background with marketing and data integration. The candidate must also have a strong background in data analytics, behavioral analytics or business intelligence in the retail or e-commerce marketing space. Strong relationship management skills and experience in technology project implementations are required. The Data Analyst must have excellent communication skills and risk management skills and a proven track record in direct client interaction and client management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as the subject matter expert on data integration requirements for the Proclivity platform, with in-depth knowledge of all standard data feeds
• Conduct data discovery sessions with clients to gain an understanding of relevant client source systems, and to present Proclivity’s standard data integration points and specifications
• Work closely with clients to tailor standard data feed specifications as necessary to meet client specific data integration requirements
• Facilitate and monitor the client’s development work related to establishing the data feeds during client on-boarding
• Serve as the liaison between client data integration resources and the Proclivity data analyst team to resolve issues that may arise during client on-boarding
• Work with Proclivity development team and clients from a functional perspective to define new data feeds and integration points that may be required for additional services
• Create weekly internal client status report to inform the Proclivity management team of status, issues, risks and key metrics
• Monitor the status of recurring client data feeds and facilitate the management and resolution of data integration issues
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years data analyst experience across various industries required
• E-Commerce, Retail or Consumer Goods experience required
• Experience with data integrations and technology project implementations required
• Strong understanding of marketing analytics, data analytics or business intelligence required
• Strong client interaction and client management skills required
• Strong relationship management and risk management skills required
• Good project management skills required
• Startup experience a strong plus
• Pre-sales experience a strong plus
